We want you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase from Kiddo and Kin. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return your item(s) within 30 days of delivery for an exchange or a full refund.

  • Change of Mind: We understand that sometimes things just aren't right. We happily accept returns for a change of mind, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and in a re-saleable condition. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs in this instance.

  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt, order number, or bank statement is required for all returns.

Australian Consumer Law & Your Rights

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

What is a major failure? A major failure occurs when the product:

  • Is significantly different from the description, sample, or demonstration model you were shown.

  • Is unsafe or has a problem that would have stopped a reasonable person from buying it.

  • Is not fit for its intended purpose and cannot be fixed within a reasonable time.

Important Notes:

  • You are not required to return an item in its original packaging if it is faulty.

  • A business cannot refuse a refund or replacement for a major failure.

  • You are not entitled to a refund or exchange if you simply change your mind (unless a store policy, like ours, allows it), found the item cheaper elsewhere, or misused the product in a way that caused the problem.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at hello@kiddoandkin.comย with your order number and a brief explanation of the issue. A clear photo of any damage is helpful.

  2. Wait for Confirmation: We will review your request and provide you with return instructions and a shipping label (if the item is faulty) within 2 business days.

  3. Ship the Item: Package the item securely and ship it back to us. We recommend using a trackable service.

  4. Refund/Exchange: Once we receive the item and confirm its condition, we will process your refund or send out the replacement item within 3 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

Market Purchases

For items purchased in person at the Eumundi Markets, please follow the same process. Contact us via email with a description of the issue and proof of purchase (a photo of the receipt or a bank statement showing the transaction date). We are committed to making things right for our in-person customers, too.
